It's inevitable that a young child will get sick on a multi-night Disney adventure. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, sympathetic and human. The multi-day passes were acommodating. The location is ideal for easy access to the parks and restaurants in Downtown Disney. The pools are superb, and heated, with ideal bar proximity. The food at the Terrace is remarkably good. Tony is a superb bartender.

Disneyland Hotel provided us with a truly magical stay at "The Happiest Place on Earth." Upon arrival we were immediately welcomed by the bell staff that efficiently took our bags to our room as a front desk cast member met us at the door to walk us to our room. No check in required as I had done online check in on the app. Cast in the lounge and throughout the resort all acknowledged us warmly as we passed them and provided great service as needed. The resort itself was kept very clean with immaculate gardens and pools outside the buildings and very clean public spaces and rooms inside the buildings. Any need we had was immediately met with courtesy, professionalism, and kindness. While the room was a bit average looking it was very well kept and looked great given the age of the hotel. The property location was also excellent sitting immediately next to Downtown Disney and close to both parks. The hotel monorail station can also provide easy access to Disneyland Park. Checkout was very easy only requiring that you provide a checkout time on the app. A polished hotel that did everything right.

Everything here was outstanding. The studio villa was roomy and well appointed. The coffee shop was great and loved that you could order ahead. The gift shops had a great variety of items. The pool areas were clean and well maintained. We had breakfast at Goofys kitchen and the characters were so wonderful with our kids. We had dinner at Tangaroa Terrace and the burger and poke bowls were a 10/10. We can’t wait to come back next year!

I stayed 5 nights November 2024, and only say 4 stars because the room was not turned over all the way when I got into it. There were used contacts and used eyelashes on the sink, wad of hair in the shower and no robes in the room. Even with that as my first impression for the resort, they did get it all taken care of for me when I called front desk and asked about it. The room service always arrived quickly and came with oranges(which we took into the park as snacks). Almost everything I tried I liked, and the pricing was comparable to other restraunts in the hotel/downtown Disney district. The pool area is amazing with 3 heated pools to swim in, 3 hot tubs, a water slide area, steamboat Willie splash pad l, and plenty of chairs and tables to sit/cabanas to rent. It was a very fun experience for all ages in my opinion. I still dream about going back to this hotel specifically( Though they are getting rid of early entry for hotel guests), so much so, I'm planning on going back to this hotel again because the staff and vibes were immaculate. The room I stayed in was in the frontier tower and I personally think all the original hotel rooms are a little bit dark and dated looking (but the light up headboards are exquisite). Next time I am going to try the villas in the newest building as they look bright and fresh and up to date. I'll let you know after my next stay (hopefully this year) how the villa tower is.

A HUGE shout-out to the front desk crew at The Disneyland Hotel- Brittany, Elena, Ernesto and Penny! Thank you all for taking the time to help us with the issue we had. Each cast member that we interacted with throughout our visit was 10/10! This is why the Disney touch truly makes a difference. We felt GENUINELY cared for. The location is a quiet oasis away from the chaos of the parks and the reason why we keep coming back. Rooms are clean and cozy. We were able to enjoy the High Key Club concierge level during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed the food offerings and again, the incredibly kind cast members who we interacted with there- Robert, Cynthia, Guille and Kay! Again, a great place to stay with *actual* magic made by those who work there.

The Disneyland Hotel is a really fun place to stay and definitely feels like part of the Disney experience, not just a hotel nearby. The grounds are beautiful, the theming is classic Disney without being overwhelming, and being able to walk to Downtown Disney and the parks is a huge plus. It feels convenient and immersive in a way that’s hard to beat. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the overall vibe is relaxed but still special. That said, it’s definitely pricey for what you get, and at times it feels like you’re paying more for the location and name than extra luxury. Still, the atmosphere, convenience, and nostalgia make it a great stay, especially if you want to stay fully in the Disney bubble.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Disneyland Hotel. Im going to try to touch on everthing so here we go! We arrived around 11am on a Sunday to leave our luggage...they will store it for you until you check in to your room. Check in isn't until 3 so we figured there was no way our room would be available that early, but we decided to check and to our surprise...it was! It was perfect as it was the hottest day of our trip at 84 degrees so we were able to take advantage of the beautiful pool! The room was amazing...the giant wooden wall decor that covered the length of the room behind the beds was by far one of our favorite parts! The beds and pillows were comfy which is a must after a full day at the park and our beds were made and towels were refreshed daily while we were away. Security to get to Downtown Disney is just feet away from the hotel...the picture Ive shared under the giant sorcerer Mickey hat...security is right across from that. You enter at the very end of Downtown Disney so you can walk the 10 minutes to the park or if you're going to Disneyland, the monorail is conveniently located just passed Lululemon and Star Wars Trading Post. You'll scan your park ticket and it takes you right in to Tomorrowland. We enjoyed walking, but this was so convenient for mid day breaks or getting back to the hotel in the evening when you just don't want to take another step!! The Coffee House is located in the resort and we really enjoyed it. I had the Chia Yogurt Parfait every single day and my daughter would get their watermelon cup or their fruit trays. Always fresh and so so good! They have so many different options though...sandwiches, bagels, etc. Was very surprised with the options! Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill is right by the pool (to the left when looking at the picture I shared). We didn't eat there, but loved just the vibes when walking by especially at night time!! Goofy's Kitchen is another option right within the hotel convention center just to the right (when looking at the picture of the pool). There was also a bar and dining area just outside by the pool. In room dining was also an option. Other than The Coffee House, I can't speak to the food as we took advantage of the food options in the park and Downtown Disney for lunch and dinner, but there was definitely more than enough options within the resort. As far as the pool goes...there is more than what is pictured...there are 2 hot tubs and a whole other pool on the other side and a Steamboat Willie splash pad area. There was tons of seating and even private seating you can pay for. The ambiance was so nice and it didn't feel too crowded or anything. The two shops in the hotel were nice...there was one bigger shop with some resort specific items, but they also had a goid selection of other items you would find in the park or Downtown. The smaller shop had things for the pool...some swimwear, goggles, lotion, hats, etc. My husband took advantage of the gym and really enjoyed it...his only complaint was that there wasn't a tonal machine like at the Pixar Hotel. We also used the guest laundry room...it's $3 and some change to use each machine. I *think* that's everything. Overall, really loved our stay and will definitely return!!!

Due to the price this is a one and done for me. Very expensive for the Disney magic. Room was fine clean, staff was great. Felt like everyone working there enjoyed their job. But good location and clean property. We did have an issue where the room key system was down and I had to be let in my room by staff until issue was resolved. Pool was fun and nice place to relax during busiest time in the parks
